The TENTEL ‘DT’ training program for the DVCPro machines provides more basics and a better understanding of the proper set-up of DVCPro machines. The ‘BT’ series of programs, for Betacam, are based on a expanded curriculum begun by the highly respected Ampex Betacam training school, and includes many aspects of current and older model Betacam transports NOT currently covered by ‘factory’ training programs.

Course Instructor: Mr. Gordon Steffen.

Gordon is a former staff instructor with Ampex Corp. Training Department; Gordon brings over 20 years of training experience, along with over 25 years of total video background.

BT-201 represents an expanded version of the Sony BVW and Ampex Betacam training classes. The intensive 10-day program covers BVW 75 and similar transports more completely than ANY other Betacam training class ever has; electronically and mechanically. This program has established itself as the BEST in the industry; ask for testimonials!

BT-202 is a 5-day ‘condensed’ BVW course without as much of the theory, but including the hands on practical information included in BT-201, a very full week.

BT-302 is a 5-day course for the PVW 2650, 2800 type transports, including hands on practical information covering electronics, mechanics, and software: a very full week.

BT-401 is an 8-day DVW digital Betacam class. This course includes block diagrams, corrections to manuals, transport adjustments; electronics and mechanics; more completely than any ‘other’ school.

DT-502 DVCPro Customer requested class for in depth and completeness of set-up and problem diagnosis that only TENTEL training can offer. This 5-day class covers compression theory, menus, block diagrams, head replacement using lista, and other electronic and mechanical set-ups.
